Reduction

The fragments are reduced by the help of forceps, K-wires or independent lag screws until optimal anatomical reduction is achieved.

Surgeons Tip
The anatomical shape of the NCB Periprosthetic Trochanter Plate (in combination with a NCB Periprosthetic proximal femur plate) can be used as a template for reduction. This means the plate in combination with an non-locking screw is used as a reduction tool.
