Case 1
In this 82 years old patient the TKA was implanted 6 months before. A THA at the same femur was operated 6 years earlier.
The fracture was reduced and fixed in a minimally invasive technique by using a NCB Periprosthetic Plate. Fracture reduction was achieved by the NCB plate as a reduction tool.
The plate overlaps the distal tip of the THA in order to prevent inter implant stress shielding
