Standard Diagnostics

Standard AP and lateral views are the basis of fracture analysis and classification. Typical signs of loosening like displacement of the femoral component or stem from the distal femur or separation of cement can be seen in the X-ray. Nevertheless in difficult cases a CT-scan can be helpful in order to detect loosening around the femoral component.
